Mothers on the Land – In Dignity 2023

Dear Friends,
After much thought and discussion, we have decided to cancel the “Mothers on the Land: In Dignity” gathering that was scheduled initially for June and then for August, 2023.  The stars did not align for us this time around.  We could not quite overcome a number of organizational challenges, including getting the right venue at the right time.  We remain committed to the spirit of the gathering – that the sacred tasks of protecting Mother Earth and protecting women and children and all people from violence are intimately connected – and want to ensure that we provide the best possible context for the gathering in future.  Thank you so much for your work and your interest in this gathering.  We look forward to making it happen in the right way at the right time.  In the mean time, we will continue to find ways to work together across the diverse contexts in which we live.
All our relations.
