The Centre for Response-Based Practice acknowledges the unceded Indigenous lands and waters of Turtle Island, where we work and live.  These lands and waters are home to many Indigenous nations and to those who came here seeking security and opportunity.  We are grateful to live here and feel the responsibility to engage in restoration, to live respectfully and treat all beings with dignity.

We deeply honour the sacrifices made by previous generations to protect the lands and waters we call home. We are dedicated to learning more and are mindful of the violence and systemic injustices committed against Indigenous peoples.  We are also committed to learning from the strengths and wisdom of Indigenous peoples, while promoting the continuity of culture and family. We acknowledge acts of resistance that uphold survivance and earth care.
